WINE MERCHANT is a game about the buy side. You're the proprietor of a wine shop, responsible for keeping the shelves stocked and sating the fine tastes of your customers. Every day, you'll decide which bottles you think are the next fan favorites, and which ones to take a chance on.

This is the wine industry, and you have a lot to learn.

Every Monday, the distributor's catalog lands: vintage charts, producer reputations, critic scores that lag the truth, a sommelier's rumor, one suspiciously cheap Nebbiolo. You can afford two of the four lots you circled, but which ones are going to fly off the shelves? Then the week runs: customers walk the floor, the till rings (or it doesn't), and Sunday's ledger tells you to the cent whether your eye was right. Great buys reveal themselves months later. Mistakes are a stain (white shirt while drinking a red? really?) that you and your clientele will remember.

One file, fully offline. The full game is a single HTML file, so there's no installer, no launcher, no account, and no internet required. Your saves live on your machine and export as files you keep. Optional, anonymous, opt-in play statistics only, auditable in the file itself.

Best on desktop or laptop. Dense, readable strategy built for a standard screen. Plays in any modern browser, online or off.
